Lee County June 2019 Real Estate Sales Typical for Summer

typical luxury homeWe saw the typical number of transactions for summertime during the week of June 22nd.  South Lee County had 238 properties sold for the week compared to 325 properties sold the prior week in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area.

Southern Fort Myers once again moved into the first position with 87 real estate transactions down from 120 the week before. Of the 87 homes sold, 28 percent were vacant lots, 24 percent were condos and 41 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold in S. Ft Myers were vacant lots.

Bonita Springs moved into the second position with 85 sales compared to 137 properties sold the week of June 15th. Home sales consisted of: 22 percent vacant lots, 27 percent condos and 44 percent were single family homes. The remaining property sales in Bonita were commercial units, mobile homes and multi-family units.

Finally, Estero rounded out the week with 65 sales which was up from 64 real estate transactions during the previous week. Of the 65 real estate sales, 26 percent were vacant lots, 22 percent were condos and 43 percent were single family homes. And, the remaining properties sold in Estero were a mobile home and commercial units.

In review, based on the latest South Lee County 2019 June Real Estate Sales report for the week of the 22nd, sales were broken down by the following property types in Southwest Florida:  59 condos, 101 single family homes, 60 vacant lots, 13 commercial units, 2 mobile homes and 3 multi-family units sold.

  • 34135 – 63 properties sold (2 commercial units, 1 mobile home, 1 multi-family unit, 17 vacant lots, 29 single family homes and 13 condos)

Southern Fort Myers

  • 33912 – 30 properties sold (2 commercial units, 13 single family homes and 15 condos)
  • 33913 – 36 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 17 vacant lots, 12 single family homes and 6 condos)
  • 33967 – 21 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 2 multi-family units, 7 vacant lots and 11 single family homes)
