SWFL January Home Sales Strong So Far

SWFL January Home Sales strong for the week of the 18th for Southern Lee County. There were 93 properties sold for the week in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area.

Southern Fort Myers moved back into the top slot with 38 properties sold consisted of 24 percent vacant lots, 16 percent were condos and 55 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold were commercial units and a multi-famil home.

Estero moved into the second position with 29 properties sold which were split between multiple property types. Of the 29 sales, 41 percent were condos, 14 percent were vacant lots and 41 percent were single family homes. The other property sold in Estero was a commercial unit.

Finally, Bonita Springs ended in the third position with 24 real estate transactions. For Bonita springs, of the 24 real estate sales, 17 percent were vacant lots, 25 percent were condos and 42 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold in Bonita were mobile homes, a coop, and a commercial unit.

In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week of the 18th, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida:  24 condos, 44 single family homes, 18 vacant lots, 3 commercial units, 2 mobile homes, 1 multi-family unit and 1 coop.
