SWFL August Home Sales Report

The latest SWFL August Home Sales Report for the week of the 22nd showed there were 211 properties sold in Southwest Florida compared to 264 during the prior week.

Southern Fort Myers had 80 property sales for the week compared to 97 sales the previous week. Transactions were as follows: 44 percent vacant lots, 15 percent were condos and 39 percent were single family homes. The remaining properties sold were a mobile home and a commercial unit.

Estero came in second with 61 property sales compared to the week of the 15th when there were 78 home sales. Real Estate sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 61 home sales, 21 percent were vacant lots, 23 percent were condos and 52 percent were single family homes. The other Estero transactions were a commercial unit and a mobile home.

Finally, Bonita Springs was in third position with 61 real estate transactions for the week compared to the prior week when there was 97 home sales. Of the 61 real estate sales, 32 percent were condos, 52 percent were single family homes and 21 percent vacant lots. The other Bonita Springs transactions were 3 mobile homes.

In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week of August 22nd, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 37 condos, 92 single family homes, 75 vacant lots, 4 mobile homes, 1 multi-family unit and 2 commercial properties.

33913 – 56 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 28 vacant lots, 17 single family homes and 10 condos)
33967 – 15 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 5 vacant lots, 8 single family homes and 1 condo)

33928 – 56 properties sold (3 mobile homes, 26 vacant lots, 24 single family homes and 3 condos)
