Southwest Florida December Real Estate Sales

Based on the latest Southwest Florida December Real Estate trends for the week of the 8th in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area, there were 332 properties sold. This is slightly higher than the number of sales from the prior week when 317 units sold.

Similar to the previous week, Bonita Springs led the market with the most real estate sales. There were 145 properties sold compared to 129 homes sold during the week of December 1st. Southern Fort Myers remained in the second position with 120 properties sold versus 124 the week before. And, Estero was once again in the third position with 66 real estate transactions which was up from the previous week when there were 60 properties sold.

For the 129 real estate sales in Bonita Springs, 32 percent were condos, 32 percent were vacant lots and 31 percent were single family homes. The remaining transactions were commercial units, mobile homes, and multi-family homes.

Also, of the 120 real estate transactions in South Ft. Myers, 29 percent were condos, 31 percent were vacant lots and 38 percent were single family homes. The other property sales in the area were mobile homes, multi-family units, and commercial units.

Lastly, of the 66 closings in Estero, 23 percent were condos, 33 percent were vacant lots and 42 percent were single family homes. Also, there was 1 commercial unit sold in Estero.

In review, based on the Southwest Florida December real estate transactions report for the week of Dec. 8th, transactions were broken down by the following property types: 119 single family homes, 97 condos, 105 vacant lots, 5 commercial units, 4 mobile homes, and 2 multi-family units sold during the week.

34135 – 88 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 4 mobile homes, 15 vacant lots, 36 single family homes and 32 condos)

Southern Fort Myers

33912 – 26 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 6 single family homes and 19 condos)
33913 – 76 properties sold (34 vacant lots, 26 single family homes and 16 condos)
33967 – 18 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 1 mobile home, 3 vacant lots and 13 single family homes)

Estero

33928 – 49 properties sold (22 vacant lots, 20 single family homes and 7 condos)
33967 – 5 properties sold (4 single family homes and 1 condo)
34134 – 3 properties sold (1 commercial unit and 2 condos)
34135 – 9 properties sold (4 single family homes and 5 condos)
