Overall, the South Florida Real Estate Sales report shows there were 171 property sales for the week of January 20th through January 27th in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero.
It was a tie! Both Bonita Springs and Fort Myers led the way with the most real estate activity with 61 real estate transactions in each city. Also, Estero had 48 sales up from 35 transactions during the previous week.
Additionally, of the 61 closings in Bonita Springs, 39 percent were single family homes, 30 percent were condos and 18 percent were vacant lots. The remaining properties sold in Bonita were a combination of commercial units, mobile homes and multi-family units.
And, Fort Myers also rounded out the week with a total of 61 properties sold, 23 percent of which were condos, 18 percent were vacant lots and 34 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining sales included a multi-family building and one commercial unit.
Finally, Estero ended the week with 48 properties sold, 25 percent were vacant lots, 40 percent were condos and 31 percent of were single-family homes. The remaining properties sold were mobile homes.
In summary, your South Florida Real Estate Review shows 73 single family homes, 52 condos, 32 vacant residential lots, 2 vacant commercial lots, 3 commercial buildings, 6 mobile homes and 3 multi-family units sold during the week.
