Real Estate Transactions Slow Mid-July

Transactions SlowIt was a typical summer week in Real Estate as transactions slow down.  During the week of July 2nd in Naples Florida there were 175 Naples Properties Sold. This is significantly lower than the previous week when 451 homes sold.  Similar to last week, North Naples still had the most real estate transactions with a total of 42 properties sold which is down from 114 the week before. And, East Naples had the second most homes sold with 31 real estate transactions compared to 79 during the prior week. Finally, the City of Naples rounded out the week with 24 transactions, down from the previous week when there were 58 units sold.

Additionally, of the 42 real estate sales in North Naples, 45 percent were condos and 52 percent were single family homes.   The remaining property sold in North Naples was a vacant lot. Also, in East Naples, of the 31  transactions closed, 13 percent were mobile homes, 39 percent were condos and  48 percent were single family homes. And, of the 32 properties sold in the City of Naples, 67 percent were condos and 33 percent were single family homes.  Since we are at the height of summer, it is not surprising to see transactions slow for the week.

In Summary, for the Naples area during the week of July 2nd, real estate sales are broken down as follows: 68 condos, 78 single family homes 24 vacant lots and 5 mobile homes closed in Collier County.
