Real Estate Sales SummaryBased on the latest Southwest Florida January Real Estate Sales Summary report for the week of the January 12th in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area, there were 168 properties sold versus 161 properties the week before.

Unlike last week, Estero had the most real estate sales. There were 70 properties sold during the week of January 5th compared to 40 during the previous week.  Bonita Springs remained in the second position with 49 properties sold compared to 56 sales during the prior week.  And, Southern Fort Myers feel to the third position with 40 real estate transactions which was down from the week of the 5th when 60 properties sold.

For the70 real estate sales in Estero, 19 percent were condos, 20 percent were single family homes and 54 percent were vacant lots. The remaining transactions were mobile homes.

Also, of the 49 real estate transactions in Bonita Springs, 35 percent were condos, 10 percent were vacant lots and 35 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold in the area were multi-family units, commercial units, and a coop.

Lastly, of the 40 closings in S. Ft. Myers, 35 percent were condos, 33 percent were vacant lots and 33 percent were single family homes. Additionally, a commercial unit and a couple of agricultural lots were sold in the area.

In review, based on the latest Southwest Florida January Real Estate Sales Summary for the week of January 12th, sales were broken down by the following property types:  55 single family homes, 40 condos, 58 vacant lots, 5 mobile homes, 4 multi-family units, 3 commercial units, 2 agricultural lots and 1 coop sold during the week.

  • 34134 – 19 properties sold (2 multi-family units, 6 single family homes and 11 condos)
  • 34135 – 30 properties sold (1 coop, 1 commercial unit, 2 multi-family units, 5 vacant lots, 15 single family homes and 6 condos)

Southern Fort Myers

  • 33912 – 15 properties sold (2 vacant lots, 7 single family homes and 5 condos)
  • 33913 – 25 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 2 agricultural lots, 11 vacant lots, 6 single family homes and 5 condos)
  • 33967 – 12 properties sold (2 vacant lots and 10 single family homes)

Estero

  • 33928 – 56 properties sold (4 mobile homes, 37 vacant lots, 7 single family homes and 7 condos)
  • 33967 – 4 properties sold (3 single family homes and 1 condo)
  • 34134 – 1 property sold (1 condo)
  • 34135 – 9 properties sold (1 vacant lot, 4 single family homes and 4 condos)
