Pelican Sound Golf & River Club is a 27 hole private golf club located in Estero. This course is unusual for Southwest Florida because of its rolling terrain. The greens are medium to large and very fast. They are also moderately undulating. Some of the greens are two and three-tiered. The fairways are tree lined and rather tight.
The course hosted a qualifying round for the Senior PGA Tour Ace Classic in 1999. Golf and River Club memberships are included with residence purchases. Pelican Sound is a bundled golf community with 1300 units. The golf club uses the Chelsea system for tee times.
In addition to golf, residents have access to 8 Har-Tru Tennis Courts, Pickleball Courts, Bocce Courts, Fitness Center, Kayak Park, Boating and a private boat shuttle to Lover’s Key State Park.
