The Collier County real estate market covering the greater Naples area is still showing signs of strong growth according to NABOR (Naples Area Board of Realtors). The Naples market report for the second quarter revealed several key statistics indicating the market is stabilizing. Overall pending sales decreased 4 percent from 2,949 in the second quarter of 2014 to 2,843 in this year’s second quarter. Overall closed sales remained flat with no increase or decrease reported. Closed sales also remained at the same level as the second quarter of 2014. However, 60 percent of the market saw an increase in inventory. The report also indicated a 9 percent increase in pending sales quarter over quarter for homes priced above $300,000. The $300,000 to $500,000 price range saw the largest increase in pending transactions at 23 percent compared to last year. Closed sales are up 26 percent compared to last year in this market segment as well. All this points to another great year for the Naples real estate market.
