South Lee County June Home Sales Off to a Strong Start

June Home Sales in South Lee County started the month strong with 211 properties sold during the week of June 1st compared to 164 properties sold the prior week in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area.

Bonita Springs vaulted into the first position with 88 sales up significantly from 49 properties sold the week of May 25th. Home sales consisted of: 6 percent mobile homes, 16 percent vacant lots, 37 percent condos and 34 percent were single family homes. The remaining property sales in Bonita were mobile homes and commercial units.

Southern Fort Myers remained in the second position with 72 real estate transactions up from 59 during the prior week. Of the 72 homes sold, 22 percent were vacant lots, 14 percent were condos and 61 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold in S. Ft Myers were commercial units and multi-family homes.

Finally, Estero rounded out the week with 49 sales down slightly from the previous week when 53 properties sold. Of the 49 real estate sales, 14 percent were vacant lots, 37 percent were condos and 47 percent were single family homes. And, the remaining properties sold in Estero were mobile homes.

In review, based on the latest South Lee County June Home Sales report for the week of the 1st, sales were broken down by the following property types in Southwest Florida:  97 single family homes, 62 condos, 39 vacant lots, 6 mobile homes 3 multi-family units and 4 commercial units sold.
