Founders Golf Club
The Founders Golf Club is an exclusive private country club in Sarasota featuring an 18-hole championship golf course located on 700 acres of land. An exceptional links golf course with gently rolling hills all surrounded by centuries-old large oak, pine and palm trees. In addition to the golf course and driving range, enhanced putting and chipping areas, the club offers a state-of-the-art indoor-outdoor golf teaching facility.
A member owned golf club with just 275 memberships, the club has no tee-times and one of the area’s best professional caddie programs along the Gulf Coast.
In addition to the golf, members have access to world class amenities including Har-Tru Tennis Courts, Pickle Ball Courts, Basketball Court, Volleyball, Playground, 24 hour state-of-the-art Fitness Center and Gourmet kitchen and cooking classes. The large 24,000 square foot clubhouse offers both fine dining as well as a more casual experience on the Verandah.
The club is surrounded by 262 lots for custom built homes which are set back from the course on larger lots. Homes in The Founders Club range from 2,500 to 8,000 plus square feet. It is one of the few communities which offers new construction homes.
