Southwest Florida Luxury Golf Property Trends

Now that we are in season, inventory levels have increased slightly across most luxury golf communities in Southwest Florida. Once again, there has been a notable increase in high-rise condo inventory in communities along the Gulf Coast, such as Bonita Bay and Pelican Bay.

Furthermore, many golf communities in Southwest Florida, including those in bundled golf communities, have increased the one-time transfer fees associated with property purchases. These fees vary by community and range from a flat rate of $5,000 to as much as 1 percent of the purchase price. Additionally, this fee and others are not listed on consumer-based websites such as Realtor.com, Zillow, or Homes.com.
