Distinguished Emerald Clubs
There are nine Distinguished Emerald Clubs in southwest Florida, seven of which are golf clubs and two are yacht clubs. Emerald Club designations are determined by BoardRoom magazine and are awarded to only the top five percent of private clubs throughout the world.
The Distinguished Clubs award program is a comprehensive award process which includes a nomination committee, site visit, numerical factors, and evaluation report. The award takes into account club amenities including golf course, club operations, food and beverage, tennis, spa and club facilities, reputation, brand, reverence, and quality of service.
