December Real Estate Transactions Strong

The December real estate transactions report for the week of the 12th for Southern Lee County showed there were 165 properties sold for the week in the Southern Ft. Myers, Estero and Bonita Springs area.

Southern Fort Myers remained in the top position with 61 real estate transactions. Of the 61 properties sold, 25 percent were vacant lots, 25 percent were condos and 46 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold were commercial and multi-family units.

Bonita Springs was in the second position once again with 54 homes sold. Of the 54 real estate sales, 13 percent were vacant lots, 37 percent were condos and 39 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold in Bonita were commercial units, multi-family units and mobile homes.

Finally, Estero finished the week in the third position with 47 property sales. Home sales consisted of: 17 percent vacant lots, 25 percent condos and 49 percent were single family homes. The remaining properties sold in Estero were mobile homes.

In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the middle of December, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida:  48 condos, 73 single family homes, 31 vacant lots, 6 mobile homes, 4 commercial units and 4 multi-family units.

• 34135 – 43 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 2 mobile homes, 3 commercial units, 7 vacant lots, 18 single family homes and 12 condos)

Southern Fort Myers

• 33912 – 16 properties sold (1 commercial unit, 2 vacant lots, 5 single family homes and 8 condos)
• 33913 – 35 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 10 vacant lots, 17 single family homes and 7 condos)
• 33967 – 10 properties sold (1 multi-family unit, 3 vacant lots and 6 single family homes)

Estero

• 33928 – 36 properties sold (4 mobile homes, 8 vacant lots, 15 single family homes and 9 condos)
• 33967 – 5 properties sold (5 single family homes)
• 34135 – 6 properties sold (3 single family homes and 3 condos)

Miromar Lakes

• 33913 – 3 properties sold (1 vacant lot, 1 single family home and 1 condo)
