Bears Paw Country Club is a gated golf community located in Naples, Florida. The community is home to the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in Florida. Bears Paw is comprised of villas, condominiums, and gorgeous single-family homes. Each residence includes a golf cart making it easy to play the 18-hole championship golf course.
The course has narrow fairways that are tree lined and bordered by a thick cut of rough. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes. In true Nicklaus fashion, the course has several elongated greens that are difficult to read because of all their subtle breaks. The signature hole is the 14th, a 205-yard par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a narrow green that is well bunkered on the back side.
Bears Paw Country Club has a limited membership of 297 members, one of the smallest memberships in Naples. One of the benefits of a smaller membership is it is easy to get on the course as often as you like. In addition to golf, members will enjoy 4 Har-Tru Tennis courts, 2 pickleball courts, 2 bocce ball courts and, a state-of-the-art fitness center.
The community is one of the very few with its own on-site Marina which is situated along the Gordon River, providing easy access to the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy the convenience of keeping your boat in one of the club’s lifts or slips, or take a kayak out for an afternoon nature tour.
