Lely Resort in Naples, Florida is home to three beautiful golf courses. Flamingo Island is one of the most intriguing public courses and the only Robert Trent Jones Sr. design in the area. Also a public course, the Mustang is a challenging Lee Trevino design, also the only one around. Lakewood Country Club is an executive golf course in Naples Florida. This 18-hole par 60 golf course caters to golfers at all skill levels. A large practice area consisting of a large putting green, chipping green, pitching green, and bunker are available to improve your short game. Full-swing practice nets are also available.

Finally, while there are a variety of single-family homes and condominiums from which to chose, they are not a part of a residential development associated with the club.  As a result, the fees to Lakewood are low compared to other communities with homes on a golf course in Naples.

Kensington Golf & Country Club is a Scottish links-style course featuring many water hazards but only a few trees coming into play on most holes. The course was built on rolling terrain, and large mounds are used to define the layout of the individual holes. The greens are fairly large, undulating, and fast, including many that are elevated and multi-tiered. The signature hole is the 8th, a 195-yard, par 3, known as a “Redan hole,” requiring a tee shot over water to an elevated and sloped green.

In addition to golf, the club offers both casual and formal dining options at the main clubhouse as well as resort-style food and beverage service adjacent to the pool. Also, members have access to a wide array of club amenities including an Olympic-sized heated swimming pool with cabanas, seven Har-Tru tennis courts, four Pickleball courts, two Bocce courts, state-of-the-art fitness center including a Pilates studio.

This gated golf community has a total of 565 properties.  There are four neighborhoods of coach homes with two units per building.  All of the units have garages and are located on the golf course and have fantastic views.

There are six neighborhoods of single-family homes and villas throughout the community.  The homes range from 2,100 to 5,000 square feet.  Most of these homes are located on the golf course.

Finally, there are two neighborhoods of Estate Homes ranging in price from $1 million and up. Home sizes range from 3,000 square feet and up.

Hole in the Wall Golf Club is centrally located in Naples, Florida.  True to its name, the entrance is a “hole” in the the wall of bushes. The club is all about golf.  There are no tee times and members may walk at anytime.

The grounds include almost 50 acres of wetland preserves dedicated to conservation. Members enjoy beautiful wildlife, sub‑tropical landscaping throughout the course.   The Club is a fully certified member of the Audubon Co-operative Sanctuary System having gained this status in the 1990’s.

Membership is by invitation only, sponsoring member must request current information in person. Hole in the Wall and adjacent Royal Poinciana are two of the few clubs that are not part of a real estate development. The clubhouse offers lunch and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Hibiscus Golf Club is a public golf club located in Naples, Florida.  The course is well maintained and features well-bunkered greens. The course was cut out of a local pine tree forest. The signature hole is #17, a 203-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green.

In addition to the golf course, Hibiscus’s practice facilities include a driving range as well as a putting green.

Water hazards come into play on many other holes.  New home for the popular restaurant Mulligan’s Pub and Grill in the remodeled clubhouse.
