Naples Area Real Estate Sales Week of the 11th

Overall, December Naples Area Real Estate Sales during the Week of the 11th shows there were 307 properties sold in Collier County, up from 205 the previous week.  Similar to last week, North Naples had the most real estate transactions. And, East Naples had the second most homes sold.  Ultimately, North Naples ended the week with 68 properties sold up from 41 the week before.  East Naples had 53 homes sold which is an increase from 34 property sales the prior week.

Additionally, of the 68 real estate sales in North Naples, 60 percent were condos, 13 percent were vacant lots and 18 percent were single family homes.  Also, in East Naples, of the 53 transactions, 68 percent were condos and 17 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining Naples property sales were mobile homes and vacant lots.

Finally, corkscrew rounded out the week with 45 property sales.  Almost half, or 47 percent of the properties sold were vacant lots.  Also, 38 percent of the sales were single-family homes.  The remaining sales were condos.

In summary, Naples Home Sold during the Week of December 11th through December 17th shows 142 condos, 101 single family homes, 61 vacant lots  and 3 mobile homes sold in Collier County.

SW Florida Real Estate SalesOverall, the SW Florida Real Estate Sales report shows there were 121 property sales for the week of January 13th through January 20th in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero.

Bonita Springs led the way with the most real estate activity with 47 real estate transactions.  Also, both Estero and Fort Myers had 35 sales in each town for the week.

Additionally, of the 47 closings in Bonita Springs, 28 percent were single family homes, 11 percent were condos and 23 percent were vacant residential lots.  The remaining properties sold in Bonita were a combination of commercial units, mobile homes, multi-family units, agricultural land and commercial vacant lots.

And, Estero ended the week with 35 properties sold, 40 percent were vacant lots and 12 percent of were single-family homes. The remaining properties sold were condos and mobile homes.

Finally, Fort Myers also rounded out the week with a total of 35 properties sold, 26 percent of which were condos and 57 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining sales were vacant lots, a multi-family building and one commercial unit.

In summary, your SW Florida Real Estate Review shows 48 single family homes, 22 condos, 30 vacant residential lots, 6 vacant commercial lots, 6 commercial buildings, 4 mobile homes, 3 multi-family units and 2 agricultural lots sold during the week.

Lee County New Building Permits Increase

Lee County New Building Permits Increase

New Building PermitsDuring January, contractors pulled 162 new building permits to build single-family houses. The estimated value of the permits pulled was about $35.3 million in unincorporated Lee County. That compares with 126 permits issued in December 2017 and 134 issued in January 2017, according to the Lee County Department of Community Development.

Also, during January, 26 multi-family units valued at about $3.8 million were permitted. That’s almost double the number pulled in December 2017 which was 16 and a significant increase over January 2016 when only six units were pulled.

Finally, there were 10 commercial units pulled valued at about $16.1 million during the month. And, compared to December of last year, this is a slight decline from about $19.5 million. However, it was almost double January of 2017 when approximately $9.6 million’s worth of permits were pulled.

Overall, Lee County Community Development issued 5,704 new building permits of all kinds in January.

December Naples Home Sales Week of the 4th

Overall, December Naples Home Sales during the Week of the 4th shows there were 205 properties sold in Collier County, down from 326 the previous week.  Similar to last week, North Naples had the most real estate transactions. And, East Naples has the second most homes sold.  Ultimately, North Naples ended the week with 41 properties sold down from 62 the week before.  East Naples had 34 homes sold down from 60 the prior week. 

Additionally, of the 41 real estate sales in North Naples, 39 percent were condos, 24 percent were vacant lots and 34 percent were single family homes.  The remaining sales were mobile homes. Also, in East Naples, of the 34 transactions, 55 percent were condos and 32 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining Naples property sales were mobile homes and vacant lots.

In summary, Naples Home Sold during the Week of December 4th through December 10th shows 80 condos, 65 single family homes, 57 vacant lots  and 3 mobile homes sold in Collier County.

Southwest FL Homes Sold

Weekly Southwest FL Homes Sold Report

Southwest FL Homes SoldOverall, the Southwest FL Homes Sold report shows there were 340 properties sold for the week of  January 6th through January 13 in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs and Estero, up from 189 the previous week. That’s a stagering 80 percent increase in property sales compared to the prior week.

Similar to last week, Fort Myers had the most real estate activity with 125 real estate transactions, up from 66 sales during the prior week.  Estero was a close second with a total of 124 sales up from 65 sales.  And, Bonita Springs ended the week with 88 transactions up from 45 during the week of December 30th.

Additionally, of the 125 closings in Fort Myers, 51 percent were single family homes, 18 percent were condos and 18 percent were vacant lots.  The remaining property sold in Ft. Myers were commercial units, mobile homes and agricultural lots.  And, Estero ended the week with 124 properties sold, 35 percent were vacant lots, 35 percent of were single-family homes and 25 percent were condos.

Finally, Bonita Springs rounded out the week with a total of 88 property sales, 31 percent of which were condos and 47 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining sales were vacant lots, mobile homes, multi-family units and  commercial units.

Naples Naples Homes Sold Week of Nov. 27th

Naples Homes SoldOverall, Naples Homes Sold during the Week for November 27th shows there were 326 properties sold in Collier County up significantly from 165 last week.  Similar to last week, North Naples had the most real estate transactions. And, East Naples has the second most homes sold.  Finally, the City of Naples had the third highest units sold for the week.  Ultimately, North Naples ended the week with 62 properties sold up from 43 the week before.  East Naples had 60 homes sold up from 36 the prior week. And, central Naples finished the week with 56 properties sold.

Additionally, of the 62 real estate sales in North Naples, 50 percent were condos, 20 percent were vacant lots and 30 percent were single family homes.  Also, in East Naples, of the 60 transactions, 55 percent were condos, 23 percent were single family homes and 22 percent were vacant lots.

Lastly, the Central Naples had the third highest activity with 56 real estate transactions. In particular, a majority of the property sales, 86 percent, were condos. The remaining properties sold were single family homes.

In summary, Naples Home Sold during the Week of November 27th through December 3rd shows 148 condos, 106 single family homes and 72 vacant lots  sold in Collier County.

Things to Do This Weekend

It is almost the weekend and we have several events and activities to do.  We have some of the best annual events of the year from January 26th through the 28th.  So, head down to Goodland for the annual Mullet Festival or catch the Swamp Buggy Races at Florida Sports Park in Naples.  Don’t miss one of the farmers market’s for a variety of goods.  If you’re a country music fan, check out Country Jam Music Festival.  Or, if you’d like to participate in some charity causes head downtown Naples for the Empty Bowls event.  Or, if you are a dog lover, head to the 12th Annual Run for the Paws at the Naples Airport. Finally, the Winter Wine Festival is this weekend and it’s one of the biggest and most luxurious events in the country!

November Naples Property Sales

November Naples Property Sales Week of the 20th

November Naples Property SalesOverall, Naples Property Sales for the Week for November 20th shows there were 165 properties sold in Collier County down from 244 last week.  Similar to last week, North Naples had the most real estate transactions. And, East Naples has the second most homes sold.  Finally, the Corkscrew area had the third highest units sold for the week.  Ultimately, North Naples ended the week with  43 property sales, North Naples had 36 homes sold. And, Corkscrew finished the week with 21 properties sold which was the same as last week.

Additionally, of the 43 real estate sales in North Naples, 39 percent were condos, 11 percent were vacant lots and 35 percent were single family homes.  Also, in East Naples, of the 36 transactions, 67 percent were condos and 19 percent were single family homes. So, the remaining sales in East Naples were vacant lots and mobile homes.

Lastly, Corkscrew had the third highest activity with 21 real estate transactions. In particular, a majority of the property sales, 52 percent, were vacant lots. The remaining properties sold were single family homes.

In summary, Naples Home Sales Week for November 20th through November 26th shows 70 condos, 48 single family homes, 43 vacant lots and 4 mobile homes sold in Collier County.
