August Weekly Home Sales

Southwest Florida August Weekly Home Sales Recap

July Home Sales RecapThe latest Southwest Florida August Weekly Home Sales recap for Bonita Springs, Estero and Southern Fort Myers showed there were 243 properties sold during the week of the 14th which was down slightly from 260 sales during the previous week.

Southern Fort Myers remained in the number one position with 98 real estate transactions down from 112 during the prior week. Sales were as follows: 7 percent were commercial units. 30 percent vacant lots, 22 percent were condos and 40 percent were single family homes. The remaining Fort Myers property sold was a multi-family unit.

Estero moved up to the second position with 75 property sales which was one more than the first week of August when there were 74 Estero properties sold. Home sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 75 home sales, 55 percent were vacant lots, 25 percent were condos and 16 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold were mobile homes and a commercial unit.

Finally, Bonita Springs rounded out the week in the third position with 68 transactions compared to 73 property sales in the previous week. Of the 68 sales, 4 percent were commercial units, 22 percent were vacant lots, 29 percent were condos and 38 percent were single family homes. The other property sales were an agricultural lot, multi-family unit and a mobile home.

In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 63 condos, 77 single family homes, 85 vacant lots, 11 commercial units, 4 mobile homes, 1 multi-family unit, and 1 agricultural lot.

July Weekly Home Sales

Naples July Weekly Home Sales Recap

Naples June Weekly Home Sales in golf communitiesThe Naples July weekly home sales recap for the week of the 5th showed 319 Homes Sold down from 465 sales during the prior week. The highest priced property sold for $16,995,000 in Olde Naples.

North Naples remained in the top spot with 71 homes sold down from 115 sales during the previous week. Of the 71 property sales, 3 percent were vacant lots, 52 percent were single family homes and 45 percent were condos.

East Naples stayed in the second position for the week with 65 property sales down from 96 transactions during the prior week. Home sales consisted of 3 percent vacant lots, 40 percent single family homes and 57 percent were condos.

Finally, the City of Naples ended the week with 41 home sales during the first week of July compared to 80 home sales during the last week of June. Naples homes sales were made up of 22 percent single family homes and 78 percent condos.

In summary, the Naples July weekly home sales review for the week of the 5th showed Naples homes sold were broken down as follows: 137 condos, 139 single family homes, 40 vacant lots and 3 mobile homes.

The ultimate sellers’ market we’re in today won’t last forever. If you’re thinking of making a move, here are four reasons to put your house up for sale sooner rather than later.

1. Your House Will Likely Sell Quickly

According to the Realtors Confidence Index released by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), homes continue to sell quickly – on average, they’re selling in just 17 days. As a seller, that’s great news for you.

Average days on market is a strong indicator of buyer demand. And if homes are selling quickly, buyers have to be more decisive and act fast to submit their offer before other buyers swoop in.

Southwest Florida Weekly August Home Sales Recap

July Home Sales RecapThe latest Southwest Florida Weekly August Home Sales recap for Bonita Springs, Estero and Southern Fort Myers showed there were 260 properties sold during the first week of the month.

Southern Fort Myers remained in the number one position with 112 real estate transactions down from 147 during the prior week. Sales were as follows: 4 percent were commercial units. 21 percent vacant lots, 22 percent were condos and 51 percent were single family homes. The remaining Fort Myers properties sold were a multi-family unit and a mobile home.

Estero moved up to the second position with 74 property sales which was more than the last week of July when there were 59 Estero properties sold. Home sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 74 home sales, 15 percent were vacant lots, 28 percent were condos and 54 percent were single family homes. The other properties sold were mobile homes.

Finally, Bonita Springs fell to the third position with 73 transactions compared to 95 property sales in the previous week. Of the 73 sales, 5 percent were mobile homes, 14 percent were vacant lots, 30 percent were condos and 49 percent were single family homes. The other property sale was a commercial unit.

In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 69 condos, 133 single family homes, 45 vacant lots, 5 commercial units, 7 mobile homes, and 1 multi-family unit.

Naples June Weekly Home Sales in golf communitiesAccording to the latest reports, the Naples weekly June home sales recap for the week of the 28th shows there were 465 Homes Sold. The highest priced property sold for $13,500,000 in Port Royal.

North Naples moved up to the top slot with 115 home sales. Of the 115 property sales, 7 percent were vacant lots, 29 percent were single family homes and 64 percent were condos.

East Naples slid into the second position for the week with 96 transactions. Home sales consisted of  6 percent vacant lots, 29 percent single family homes and 64 percent were condos. The remaining property sold was a mobile home.

Finally, the City of Naples ended the week with 80 home sales for the last week of the month. Naples homes sales were made up of 7 percent vacant lots, 29 percent single family homes and 64 percent condos.

In summary, the Naples June weekly home sales review for the week of the 28th showed Naples homes sold were broken down as follows: 183 condos, 188 single family homes, 88 vacant lots and 6 mobile homes.
