The latest Fort Myers, Bonita and Estero Home Sales Report for the week of May 9th showed there were 135 properties sold in Southwest Florida, which was down from 195 property sales during the prior week.
Southern Fort Myers remained in the top spot with 50 property sales which was down from 73 during the prior week. Transactions were as follows: 12 percent were agricultural lots, 24 percent vacant lots, 18 percent were condos and 46 percent were single family homes.
Bonita Springs moved into the second position with 49 real estate transactions down from 55 transactions the week before. Of the 49 real estate sales, 6 percent were mobile homes, 8 percent vacant lots, 51 percent were condos and 33 percent were single family homes. The remaining Bonita property sold was a coop.
Estero moved into the third position with 36 home sales versus 67 real estate transactions during the week of May 2nd. Real Estate sales were split between multiple property types. Of the 36 home sales, 8 percent were mobile homes, 28 percent were vacant lots, 33 percent were condos and 31 percent were single family homes.
In review, based on the real estate transactions report for the week of the 9th, property sales were broken down by the following types in Southwest Florida: 46 condos, 50 single family homes, 26 vacant lots, 6 mobile homes, 6 agricultural lots and 1 coop. unit.
