Is power the most important part of your golf swing? You may see most golfers swinging hard at the ball trying to generate a lot of power and swing speed.  The lower handicappers end up in the fairway and so do the higher handicappers. The problem is the higher handicappers ends up in a fairway on another hole!  Sometimes, power will get you in trouble even if you are a good golfer.  Your best shot isn’t always the one where you can hit the ball the farthest.  Consider hitting a hybrid on narrow holes or where a driver might result in you landing in a bunker.  Just because you can hit your driver a long way doesn’t mean you should.
